Licensing

All videos on WXVids.org are copyright of WXVids. Licensing for non-personal usage is required for usage of any part of a video on this site (including a still frame), and is given on a per-request basis, except as defined below:

Broadcast/Cable Television Media

The following Broadcast Media outlets have a revocable license to use content on this site without a per-video request, although as a term of the license, all content must be credited to “WXVids.org”, and although not required, we request to be informed of which videos are being used.

• WeatherNation TV
• WRGB TV

Non-Profit Organizations

The following Non-Profit, or Government Organizations have a non-revocable license to use content on this site without a per-video request, and although not required, we request credit be given to “WXVids.org”, and request that we are informed of which videos are used.

• NOAA US National Weather Service
• NOAA Storm Prediction Center

Revocation

If your licence is revoked, you are still authorized to use any content you previously used, under the terms of the license at the time. However, you are not authorized to use any additional content. This does not mean that you may use content you have not already used, this is provided solely to make it easier on your legal team in the event your license is revoked, you do not have to scrub previously used content.
